After releases for Buttress, Engrave and Sum Over Histories, the Casablanca-based Jably, also known as Jalil B, debuts on Urge To Dance with an emotional four-track EP.Vibrant synths and exuberant vibes will take you on a melodic search for the last child on Earth in a dystopian world.

The EP explores the personal and philosophical moments which Jably has experienced throughout the months of lockdowns and global pandemic uncertainty.

The opening track digs deep into the fears of the time when there could be one last child on Earth and the end of humanity is near. Expressive and emotional synths reveal the fear of this possibility and yet provide a glimpse of hope that this would not be the end.

Lost Time is Not Lost aims to make us realise that the time we spent in lockdowns was not in vain. Although we found ourselves restrained, it gave us the opportunity to spend that time searching for new experiences, thinking about life and seeing things from different a point of view. It is a vibrant track with a punchy kick and mesmerising synths.

The EP continues with Perseverance, a track which is an illustration that even after multiple failures and despite all headwinds, the difficult moments will be left behind with hard work and hope. This leads to the final addition to the EP, The Hope, leaving us on positive note with expressive organ-infused synths reminding us that no matter what we should believe that the best is always yet to come.
