A journey through sound experimentation is what best describes Chicchic Focfoc EP by the South Korean rising talent Onizmik. Accompanied by two powerful and emotional remixes from Mauez & Rick Offen, this is an unorthodox EP and a real club space bomb.

Onizmik's original is a percussive and textural journey blending melodic lead-bass lines from Behringer Model D analog synthesizer, rolling kicks and remarkable hi-hats inspired by the hiss of a coffee steam machine. Raw and organic, the track peaks with samples from the Seoul subway announcements and locomotive-like sounds that transform the everyday city moments into a hypnotic dance-floor experience.

First on remix duties is Mauez who delivers a remarkable reconstruction of the original. The remix is built around a dirty, syncopated groove, with impactful tribal drums and tight, yet powerful low-end. A distorted percussive lead cuts through the track with grit, while the signature Seoul subway 'vocal' remains raw and central, adding tension as the remix evolves. Bold and unpredictable, the Mauez Re-Build is intended for the intense late-night floors!

Last but not least is the long-anticipated remix by Ritmo Futuro's head honcho Rick Offen who returns to Urge To Dance in full force.
